Notifications

Configure how you receive notifications from YokeBot.

Notification Channels

YokeBot can notify you through two channels when events require your attention.

Alert Categories

Each notification category can be independently toggled for In-App and Email delivery. Go to Settings > Notifications to configure which alerts you receive and how:

  • @Mentions — when you are mentioned in a chat message.
  • Task Approval Needed — when an agent completes a task that requires your review.
  • Task Completed — when a task you created is marked Done.
  • Agent Error — when one of your agents enters the Error state.
  • Credit Warning — when your team's credits fall below a configurable threshold (cloud only).
  • Task Blocked — when a task is auto-blocked after failing 3 sprints or when an agent requests approval.

Use the toggle switches next to each category to enable or disable In-App and Email delivery independently.

Per-File Notifications

The Files tab in the workspace shows a badge count for unread file updates. Additionally, files that have been modified recently (within 24 hours) show an amber dot indicator next to their name, with relative timestamps on hover. Opening a file marks it as read, and you can click the "Mark all read" button to clear all file notifications at once.

These indicators update in real time via SSE — you will see the amber dot appear immediately when an agent writes to a file. The file tree also supports drag-and-drop organization, so you can move files between directories directly.

Unsubscribe

Every email from YokeBot includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it disables all email notifications for that team. You can re-enable emails at any time from Settings > Notifications.
